I just signed on to my TrueCredit account to update my 3 reports and scores and I got this message: --- System Error What happened: There has been an interruption during the processing of your request and you may need assistance to resume the process. --- I got this message after twice trying to refresh and it said that my report(s) were not available. I called the customer service number and was on hold for a few minutes before the line just went busy. This happened twice. I am worried that because of my numerous disputes with Transunion that they completely wiped out my credit report! Should I be worried? Or is their system just down right now? Can anybody else check theirs or update theirs? Thanks!
I am no expert but I am sure they didn't wipe out your credit report. Beside, there has to be an backup. I just logged in. It is working for me. And me score has gone up a whopping 9 points. I now stand at a very massive 533.
Just logged back in and it worked.. sorry for the scare! lol.. no change on mine (yet) still 571... but logged into my equifax and shows 4 investigations going on... yeah baby!
Good going for you with TrueCredit. I was I could get Credit Expert to update for me with a new score. I have had a few drops since last score. Also, I have had 3 drop offs on equifax but no new score reported thru scorewatch. Was at 557 eager to come up. Capital one is my greatest Nemesis. They are 6 plus years old. They are coming off in 07/07 equifax, 03/07 experian, and 12/06 transunion. They are killing my utilization. And they are a charge off. I would pay them but this scattered reporting and insane interest is ridiculous. I will waiting them out. I am dug in, well stocked and so pissed that I am standing knee deep in it. In the meanwhile, I am disputing their whimsical removal dates. Starting with that 07/07.
i'm not sure if everyone realizes this, but with true credit, you need to update your report (there is a link to the right of the screen) in order to see any changes in your score. you can do this every 24 hrs. true credit is also the only company (to my knowledge) that allows you to do daily updates. i don't know why privacy guard and all the others changed their policy (probably because of me pulling my report every 5 minutes during my early credit work!), because that is a huge selling point to be able to have daily access. if anyone knows if this has changed, please correct me.
You're absolutely right. That's why I pay for the TrueCredit service, because I can refresh my reports every 24 hours. I really only do it when I get an email notification from them reporting a change on any of my reports. The scores are close enough to FICO for the most part to gauge my progress.
I have TrueCredit service, but I didn't know I could update daily. Their information made it seem as if I can only get new updates once month. Thanks for letting us know, ofhumbon. Good call.
