    Hello all,

I have been using privacyguard.com for about 1 month and so far, I have been able to determine how many inquiries I have and if items are showing disputed when validating with CA. It has its own proprietary scoring system which sucks, but for a buck, you will be able to monitor the cleanup process for at least 3 months.

I just called them. A three month trial for $1, not a bad deal. Then for an $89.95 annual fee you can pull as many times as you want which is still a really great deal.

You can also dispute accounts for all three bureaus via their web site which is pretty cool. Which brings up my next question: what if all three CRA's are reporting the same account, but lates for that account only appear on one of them? Will my dispute go to the one CRA reporting the lates, or all three?

I don't know, this all sounds almost too good to be true? Other such services have recently limited the number of pulls to only a couple per year. The customer service rep on the phone said their service is owned by all three bureaus. Interesting...

Actually you cant dispute directly from their site. They offer a generic dispute form that you can print out and send to the CRA'a yourself.

I signed up with them 2/4/03 and I've noticed that when I log in and "access" my 3-1 report, the report is still dated 2-4. I don't see where you can "get a new one" or update it. I've emailed them to ask if I'm really getting "unlimited" pulls during the trial and I got a vague answer. Their answer was something about unlimited access to THAT report which implies the report I got on day one can be seen unlimited times for 3 months...WTF??!! Does anyone know the answer here? Am I missing something?

Instead of clicking on "My reports", select the 'Triple-Bureau Credit Report' on the left side below the Membershio Home.

You can also go under the "Credit Center" and click the 3B Credit Report under the Request Reports section.

I did that and still in the upper right of my 3-1 report it says "Report Date: Feb 4 2003".

When the lady emailed me back she inferred that you have unlimited access to the SAME report in a 30 day period. I emailed her back to clarify that and if that is true does it automatically give you a new report on the 31st day? I also asked her if that applies during the $89.95 annual membership period.

I think you were talking to a bone head. I get a new report daily. The report date says the current date. You have to click on request a 3 in 1 cb report. The next screen asks you for a credit card if you want all 3 scores and your social security number. Submit this page and the next page says Get your report with a new report number.

I have been getting a new report every day for almost 2 months using PG. I like the side by side comparison thing and the inquiry tracker is nice too.

I agree. I've only been a trial member for a week and I get a new report everyday. I know, becuase I've been doing some applying and have seen daily changes to my reports.

I have been using the service offered by Equifax. I just signed up for PrivicyGurad.

I like it, but have one problem. The single report offered by equifax has a lot more useful details. It shows all activity for each creditor. The PG report only shows a 2 year history. Not very good if you are disputing things beyond 2 years ago.

I emailed PG and asked them to show all history contained in the file. Hopefully everyone else will email them as well.

Freecreditreport.com accesses your report once per quarter, which YOU have access to an unlimited number of times.

I dropped them like the plague.

I disagree. I had updates on different CRAs on three different days. Pulled each of those days, each day, there was different new information.

Privacyguard is definately letting me pull new 3 in 1 reports EVERY day. And the INQs are showing up on EXP and EQU.

hmmm... Didn't you say it was asking for you're cc info(or someone in this thread did)? Are you sure they are not charging you for a new one everytime?

you only need to give your CC information if you are ordering 3 scores with your 3 reports. otherwise, you will get 3 reports and 1 score which is part of the membership. yes, you are allowed to pull a NEW report everyday.

I just signed up with privacyguard. When I go through the steps to "order" my report I keep getting the message that my order was successfully processed but they are unable to pull my report right now due to temporary technical difficulties. It says to try again in a few moments but when I do I keep getting the same message. Is this happening to anyone else?

This happened to me when I was having problems pulling my report from Experian. If PG can't pull all 3, it won't be able to give you a report.

if you use the privacyguard.com service, does this result in an inquiry on your reports?
