Hi, first time poster. I've tried to search for this particular topic and haven't found anything with my particular scenario.

I know most have been able to get negative AU tradelines off of their reports by having the owner of the account take them off the account and then dispute with CRA. However, my late-wife passed in Feb '13 and is definitely not able to do that. How should I go about speaking with the creditor about this?

There were two CC via Chase Bank and both are CO since Jan '11 and Feb '11.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sorry for your loss guruizzy.

Did you use the accounts while they were still active?

Honestly I don't even remember the cards. My late-wife just got them and put me down as an AU. I'm sure she used them.

If you never used it, just contact the OC and advise them you never authorized yourself being placed on the account and that they need to remove you from it as well as any reporting.
