Last week I posted about receiving a letter from TU stating I was using a credit repair firm, which is not true. I immediately sent them a letter from the letter forum here stating I was not using a CRC. It was sent CMRR. I got the green card back yesterday, and today I received yet another letter from TU saying I was using a CRC. Same letter! Time is running out--which is probably a good thing, but yeeesh! What do I do now? They obviously do not read the letters we sent to them.
If its asking you if you are using a Credit Repair Agency, and is a "fill in the blank form", don't worry about it, just throw those away. Your dispute will continue.
I just sent my first verification to TU last week disputing just a single item. Just now I received the same letter you did. I plan on sending the response letter to this disputing using a credit repair agency tomorrow. If they don't complete any investigation from the first letter, is that a violation on their part. Do I have to send a second, or third letter? Or can i file in court just for this refusal to investigate? I have never taken anyone to court... and didnt think I would have to this early in the plan. I wanted to get my feet wet a little more before anything came to that. So at this point, what is the best action to take after the response letter re using a repair company.
Is it the fill in the blank form? If it is just ignore it. TU gets a wild hair and sends those out en masse from time to time. Last time was during CHOD.
what ever happend w/ your problems here guys? i'm going through the same thing w/ tu right now. thanks.
