I disputed just about every negative with and 3 CB's for both the wife and myself about dec 15 or so....equifax and exp came back as all verified etc etc etc. With the sears charge off's on both the wife's account and a sears charge off on my account, TU added a little twist, (I think thanks to the recent change off all these accounts from sears to citibank?) The new little twist.........................IS that the accounts read paid or payings as agreed from 1998!!!!!! . SOoooooooooooooooooooooooo I applied for the wife with B of A, national bank, and............CHASE. Wife has three baddies on eqsux and 4 on Exp, but TU is now clean and TU now show lots of age thanks to twist! I am thinking maybe a $500, as she has no comparable card, and or I will have to have her call to plead her case after we get the denial letter. well thanks to RNG and the credit gods being in a positive mood, chase granted her a new $3,500 line! OMG WTF!??????? RNG x RNG / 3.141..... = equals the odds of credit given on any given first Tuesday before the first full moon. Dog
Sweet! Congrats on the success! I'm thinking of applying for a 2nd card from Chase solely for the purpose of increasing my CL. I have a $4K card with them and got that when my TU score was about 685. Applied for a 2nd card a couple months later and was declined due to having a derog on my report...scores in the same range as with the 1st approval(derog was present then too, but with 1 CO still hanging on. Anyway, my disputes went well and my score has risen 100 pts in the last month. Wish me luck!
