If you know a trick and don't want to share with the rest of the board, then why bother even mentioning it??
I have been having bumpage about once a week, but I have been pulling my report every day with them and viewing online.
Am I the only one leary of creating a trail of deciet for use by TU later? I fugure they HAVE to know about this 'hole' and will make good use of it when the time comes...
Although I would love to have the inqs. off, I do feel funny about pulling my report everyday under false pretenses.
What is deceitful about looking at your credit report everyday? I look at my equifax and experian accounts everyday. I like to see when things change...and if bumpage happens to occur...well hey...stuff happens.
I pull mine from Tu and worthknowing everyday and it although not consistent like EQ, I have noticed alot of INQ gone since I started doing this. So if this is the "sopposed" trick someone was working on then it appears pretty simple to me and harmless to to do even if wrong. So bump away! Kara PS Yes, they are hard INQ!
how do you get worthknowing to give you another one? I can't seem to. I change all my info but ssn, and it still says that I've already pulled mine!
you go to "my account" at the top and click on it and then you scroll down on that screen and "delete account" and then you are good to go for new one. Kara
wow, thanks. I've been trying since July 1st to see a new one. At that time I only had a 20. It's much higher now, but it's still depressing!! Thanks!
If you're referring to my post, all I meant was that I personally feel funny trying to trick the TU system by giving a false reason to PULL my report. Don't know why this is. I guess that I feel like it might come back to haunt me someday b/c I have some serious issues w/ TU. I do agree w/ doing ANYTHING you can to remove inqs. b/c it is so difficult to get them off your report otherwise.
Sooooo.... if "it doesn't pay to be a jerk" then why don't you share? I was not one of the "elite" but asked you what you meant by "elite" so that I could learn what you might want to share. You never answered me. Although I never called you a jerk, it appears by your reactions (or lack of sharing) that is the consensus. So are you going to live up to everyone's expectations, or prove everyone wrong and share like everyone else does?
Were you denied credit? Do you meet any of the requirements for who they must furnish a free report to? Are you paying the $9 fee?
