I disputed extra Citi accounts online - I didn't accept 4 accounts with them and having 3 of them opened and closed in the same month hurt my score. So I disputed them online. Today I get an updated cr from them, indicating that my Citi-CITGO account was verified and remains. Well that's fine and dandy since it's a great old trade line, 10 years old, but I didn't dispute that. What happened to the 3 Citi disputes??? I put in the flippin' account numbers in the dispute and they do not remotely match my Citgo account number. I called and she put in another dispute for them, but it just annoys me - I feel like they're getting another 30 days becuase they screwed up. Just venting. Ozzy.
I hear ya! I disputed three items with them. Copied all the info word for word from my credit report. They sent me back a letter stating that something I had disputed (didn't even say what) was not on my credit file. I'm looking right at the darn thing! Are they blind or just stupid?
