I had sent in some disputes back in March to Trans-Union. I would say it was about 12 disputes. The good news is I got 8 out of the 12 deleted with 1 re-insertion, which I was real excited about, but there was one on there that they verified which was from a collection agency the notorious NCO. I turned around again and sent in another dispute to Trans Union on this account again. TU sent me a letter telling me that they have already verified this the first time and that they feel that the 2nd dispute is frivilouis. I'm getting ready to send my validations letters to the CA's today, but my question is, does this sound legeal regarding Trans-union? I thought when a consumer disputes something they have to ivnestigate it no matter how many times it is disputed?? does anyone have any idea's

Who knows what the definition of "frivolous or irrelevant" is. In general you should limit your disputes to three at a time and send them Certified return recite requested (CRRR).

At this point you may want to wait 2 or 3 weeks and dispute the account again to Trans Union. You may want to use the dispute letter from this board and personalize it. If you get nowhere with this letter, send them a second letter with a copy of the first letter, and send a copy to the FTC.

Congratulations on the deletions you did get.
