I tried to just contact trans union, i entered my zip and they referred me via automated recording to a credit svc affiliate in buffalo NY for any problems. I call THAt number and get yet another recording saying that any questions or disputes need be in writing. does this mean i can never talk to a human at TU because I live in the wrong area of te country? I am quite sure I have a split file with them (since its logical to assume TU doesnt convienantly lose 98% of bad trades for no good reason). Do I now have to write this contracted svc out in NY and tell them my file is most likely split?? Anyone have any 800# to TU where I can get around this if at all or any other possible solution. so far today I am finding out I live in the wrong area (oklahoma) and cant dispute with equifax online and I cant call TU directly. what a headache!

I have the same exact problem! My TU report is split. The Buffalo affiliate handles my report and all I can get is a recording that I have to mail my info. The main TU number (including the one posted above) directs you to the Buffalo affiliate. I really need to talk to a TU person. Any idea on how I can do that???
