Got a letter today from TU, saying that they couldn't find my file. I've never had that happen before. Any advice on what to do about this?? Hope it's not permanent!
My husband requested his file and they told him they didn't have him on file (imposible)! They said they couldn't even pull up ANYTHING under his Social nor was it on file. Well... to make a long story short. About 6-8 months later he called and just out of a whim they had him in their computer again!!! Once it got here it was all fuc$ed up! It was mixed up w/someone elses report. We are still trying to get that $hit straight! I really hope this isn't the case for you!
Now I'm worried. That was the one report that was clean. Fortunately I have a printout from 4/10 - wonder if I should call them on Monday. If they cannot find me, then I could fax this over. Bummer! I'm going to be thinking about this all weekend

THEY CAN'T FIND MINE EITHER...ALTHOUGH I have done NOT~WORTHKNOWING about 6 times this year, and 2 of them in the last 2 weeks...
You got your file that way George? How odd?!?! I know that my husband couldn't get it either way. He even tried buying a CR. They would take his money but wouldn't send anything. After a month or so.. we would dispute it w/our CC.
