What percentage of the time (best guess) are you folks getting the stall letter from Trans Union that alleges that you are using a credit repair agency?

    What's your best guess?

Are they repeating that stall even after you reply to their accusation?

    Thanks

2 weeks. i didn't reply. i'm gonna wait until their 30 days are up to see if the item has changed. if not, i'll send another letter to them. i've read on this board that it doesn't matter whether it is a credit repair company anyway, they still have to verify it.

I too got the credit repair agency letter - with a form to complete that had additional information requested like phone # employer phone etc after sending a copy of my report with highlights and comments written next to errors(all hand written) with a hand written envelope. My wife the same after I sent a letter on her behalf- this using my computer with a laser printer and I printed the envelope as well. They must be sending these out to everybody since both letters were different yet with the same result. We ignored both letters and they responded after 30 days anyway.

I too ignored their credit repair letter and they did their job anyway so don't reply as it's a wasted stamp and time.

Hmmm, wonder why I didn't get a "stall" letter from TU? Maybe because I disputed online and followed up with a phone call... Oh well, continue to do what works for you =)
