I tend to use the online form for the simplest things. Try to keep it to just a few items each time.

It works. I used the online form last week for a few disputes and I got the notice from TU yesterday that they had updated/deleted the disputed accounts. I didn't think it would work, but it did.

That's a quick response from TU. A week!

Here's my thoughts on on-line vs written:

On-line is good for clear-cut things and the first round or so.

Writing a letter, especially if you put in details that don't fit into one of their nice, neat categories (not mine, not paid late, etc) requires them to actually forward the details of your dispute by mail to the creditor for review. Otherwise, you tend to get 'quick-verified' by computer. The more you can complicate their process (and the process of the creditor who has to verify), the better your chances of their not getting it done within 30 days.

I used US MAIL because I had minor problems like "UNKNOWN" need to be changed to "JOINT"

NONE OF THE REASONS WORKED...AND I'M NOT ABOUT TO USE "NOT MINE"!!!!

And you have problems disputing INQUIRES ON-LINE...
