I too want to apply for Chase and Generations when I get my last negs gone. What about Citibank? I can't wait to get an auto loan at 5% or something like that! Have fun! P.S. Christi I know Fleet and New Generations use only TU is this the same with Chase? My TU report is 30-60 days from being clean. TIA

I guess Chase uses TU only and I was denied in the past month. Just called they said fax the denial letter and new credit report to them and they will do a manual reconsideration. I'm sure to get it. I just used one inquiry for Generations Bank. I asked for $9K limit. I don't wanna go overboard. That will be all I apply for right now. I'm gonna wait on Experian and Equifax to clean up. Basically here's what I did. I faxed an intent to sue letter to the legal counsel of TU in Philadelphia. It was over night mailed to the Senior Paralegal at TU. She started working on my file. I was getting nowhere fast, so I saw the attorney in Shreveport, LA. He agreed to take the case. I sent them 2 more faxes with no response. Last week I sent a final fax stating what I wanted deleted by 2-26-02 or I would be filing in District Court (per my attorney). That's the details......I have a clean report now
And Christi: Can you give us details of what you have left on your report? I want to know what it takes to get a score so high.
Roni, I was suing over FCRA violations. I had several of them on TU. Love, Remaining report is VERY thin. I have 2 open accts First Premier $300 limit $221 balance FCNB $200 limit $121 balance AU on Speigel $2500 limit $968 balance 1 closed furniture account paid as agreed 1 closed credit card paid as agreed 3 closed installment loans paid as agreed NO inquiries at all!!!
WOW! Not to downplay your victory [wish I were in your shoes:0)], but that does seem thin for such a good score. How old are the accounts, particularly the open ones?
