Can anyone enlighten me as to what TU fake means? I see that some people have that in their personal information.

This is a number generated in house by TU, not using the FICO model and it is not the number that lenders see. Your real FICO number can vary greatly and can go up or down. You can buy your "real" FICO score or you can see what it is from a lender report. There is no direct correlation between the two numbers. Thatâ??s why we call it FAKO.

    Hope this helps.

Oh wow. I did not know that. I'll quit stressing about that meaningless # then. I was beginning to wonder.

The TU site says it can't verify my Identity. Will the report they send you in the mail have you real fico?

I went for the longest time thinking that TU number was the real number.. My other two reports are well over 600 but my TU fako is 500..

GrRrrRrR I will order the real score something in the next month to see what my real score is..

the real one for me (the one businesses see) was 12.95, it happened to match my fako, which would appear to be rare.

You can tell it is the 'real' fico because it appears to redirect you to myfico.com, just like equifax's credit watch. The score report and everything look the same.
