TU has a notation on their credit report that says I've been in their files since "1985". The problem is that apparently credit scoring uses years of history with a credit bureau as one of their criteria. I should be in their files since 1975 or 1976 when I purchased my first car thru Ford Motor Credit and opened several department store credit cards and a bank card. If this is a factor I think it is something you all should take a look at. There is no way they didn't have info on me before 1985! Mist
