The weirdest thing happened, I did a dispute on line with Trans Union, ( a paid tax lien.) I got the usual "are you using a credit repair firm?" letter shortly thereafter. I got my report today and the investigation results are listed: 20 inquries gone! Now, I only had 4 hard inquiries, but every one of them, hard and soft, are gone! Some are even listed as "Cons. Disc" so I wonder if this means that soft inquiries hurt also. Of course, the tax lien dispute was totally ignored, so I am redisputing that one. I wonder why this happened? I didnt even ask for it!

Thanks guys! I will say that this is the result of the second on line dispute I did with Trans Union, in which they ignored the subject of my dispute and addressed something else entirely. The last result was my positive Mobil account being deleted :0 George, I think you might be right! I wonder if someone at TU will notice and then put them all back on? Its scary that this is the result of my dispute, I have no idea where the got the idea I was disputing these...
Funny how they sent you the "credit repair?" form letter when you did the dispute online. Unless there are credit repair companies disputing online now. LOL
