Last month I disputed inquies w/ TU online, and 6 were removed. Early this month i disputed other inquies the same way and received a letter yesterday stating they do not deal w/ inquies etc. So i called them and the lady said they have no way of disputing them. What should I believe, they obviously can remove them w/o me going to original company that put them on it.
Yes I did and she said that she doesn't know of them removing inquies and that she has been there 5 years and there is no way of doing it.
Do you still have your old report showing the 6 inquiries that were subsequently removed? If you do, you could send copies of the old report, and new report showing the inq's removed, and also send the ltr that says TU sent you that says they do not investigate inquiries, and ask well which one is it?
You're welcome. Good luck with them. BTW, if the inquiries you're disputing are over 6 months old, they're not hurting you that much. Creditors will usually only deny you if you have excessive inquiries within the past 6 months.
