I just checked my TU account and found something very interesting. I will give you a quick update on my situation. I had something re-inserted on my CR which I called and fought them about. They claimed they would remove it, but 4 days later it was still on my CR. Well I called yesterday and asked why it was still on there and they stated it was because I still had a dispute in progress. Well as of today the re-insertion has been updated but I found something new, they closed one of my CC!! It states "closed by credit granter." What bulls*it. I have the CC sending me something in the mail stating that the CC is still open. TU is very vindictive aren't they? Has anyone gone through this before? What did or can you do? I don't mind suing them for false reporting if it comes to that. What should I do?
I'm fighting with TU right now on a similar situation. They show my Target Visa as closed. I have disputed it two times and have never received an update on the disputes. They obviously are claiming it was verified as they still show it as closed. These disputes were done in December and February. No responce. I called and spoke to someone who is in the position Don Richman was in. I asked if the acct is closed, can you explain how the credit limit just increased and the balances have been fluctuating up and down over the past 6 months? Well, obviously it is open was the response. I was told she would take care of it. This was a month ago. They are getting close to me filing a lawsuit.
It is so obvious that they did this on purpose. I am going to wait until I get my letter from the CC and then write them a letter.
