   after disputing, i rec'd a updated credit report that reads "no longer on file" but it shows up on the
   statement ?!? what does this mean...do I need to ask them to remove it?

   It should mean that it's been deleted. Maybe there system is wacko, but I have disputed something that was deleted a day earlier and it said "no longer on file". Charlie
