DH called TU about his split file. TU claims that there is NO split file at all and that DH is making it all up. I have two printouts in front of me, with different member numbers, one showing the "you've been in your files since" date at 2003, the other goes way back in the '80s, one has bunches of tradelines, the other has only a few. Not to mention that the rep stated that TU is doing their best to keep consumer information accurate and that it's preposterous to suggest that they could have made a mistake. Time for Round 2: CMRR letters. A question: should we send copies of the two credit reports or just a letter stating that there is a discrepancy? Ah, one more twist. I just pulled DH's report through True Credit and it has all the correct info on it. Meanwhile, the report that I got directly from TU is the one with incorrect information. How in hell is that possisble? PawMix
TU claimed they same thing 2x with me. I sent the letter that has worked for Breeze and others and all I got was some minor changes. Tomorrow I fax an ITS letter. I'll let you know what happens.
Aww, how sweet. So they don't react to written correspondence either? Now that's just wonderful. I am slowly getting really fed up with the CRAs. They should pay us all for the time we spent writing letters, making phone calls and researching FCRA. PawMix
