I have a report from TU dated 5-5-03. 7 pages 14 derogs, and 4 positives. page and a half of inquiries.I have been in their files since 9/94
sent off a DV letter to a CA that was on my report, disputed through TU as not mine. Yesterday I recieved a letter from TU stating the item I disputed is not even on my report. I know it is, well I thought so until today.

I recieved another TU report stating I have been in their files since 4/03. Same report number as before, but only 4 tradelines left, all positive. MY HARDEST ONES TO REMOVE!! All my positives, inquiries and collections are gone.

I called TU today and asked about my loss of positive and negative tradelines and asked if my file was split. She said no...it wasn't split. I told her I had one item in dispute and now everything is gone. She assured me that TU did not delete these, evedently every creditor must have come in and removed these from my report all in the past 9 days.

This is just half of it. Over the past 4 months, TU has reaged 2 particular accounts,a Sears account from a closed date of 11/02 to 1-03 to 3-03 to finally 4-03 and a Nissan Account from 6-97 to 2-03 to 3-03 to 5-03.

So these 2 tradelines have had a total of 8 different closed dates in 4 months. Is this 8 violations? BTW these 2 are 2 of the 4 still left on my report. The other 2 are a c/o cc from 1st Nat. Bk, and my ONLY open account on my report, my current car payment which has a couple 30 days late.

Should I send copies of all my evidence to TU and demand it to be fixed? Or should I ITS them? I'm happy my inquiries and most of my neg's are off my report, but I want my positives back!! HELP!!

I got this name and number but turns out I did not need them. I have no clue how helpful they will be.

Here's your clue. If creditors had deleted, you would have still been in their files since 9/94 IMHO. You need to move up the chain of command and get this fixed. I have read with split files, sometimes creditors pulling your report will get THE OTHER file.

Thanks for the quick response, I will get right on up the chain of command there and figure this out. I thought it was a split file also, but the date they had me in their system through me off.

    This is truly aggrivating.

    Wrangler,

If you turn on your email, or send me an email I can reply to, I have some info for you.

I'm leaving for a softball game in just a few minutes, so I won't be back on until in the morning.

I have been working on a split TU file for several months now. Argghhh! No fun at all! Search for split file here and you will find a ton of info. Good luck!
