I've had 3 deletions from TU this month, and not ! point change in my score. I didn't think it would go up lots, because some were old, but you'd think it would be good for a point or two--geez!!

I had 2 collections deleted and my TU score went up about 75 points to 735. From what I understand, the TU score you receive is not an accurate FICO score. Open up a ELoan acct. and you can receive a free credit score using your TU CR that more closely resembles your actual FICO. For example, my ELoan score is 668 for my TU report.

But it is weird as you would think that the deletions would increase your score...Prior to the deletions, were these listed as the top negative reason for your score?

I had 4 bad ones, plus a paid judgement and an unpaid tax lien. If they are listed in order of badness, the deleted ones were the worst. Very strange, huh?

I had 3 CAs deleted last month and dropped from 612 to 595.

This month I had 1 CA and 1 unpaid tax liens drop and it stayed at 595.

    Go figure.
