Okay since most of us our disputing and getting our scores from TU. I can tell you for sure that they are completely full of it. WE went out and bought a car last night because we are outgrowing our 2000 Merc Sable that we only got a year ago with 24% interest, yikes. Anyway, so I went to the dealership I worked for, Nissan They pulled both our equifax and TU. My equifax was a 637 up from 605 in July and my TU was 622 up from 591 in July. Well, the scores I have been getting from TU started out in Sept at 561 and since then I have had 2 more negatives removed and they have dropped to 540. So as you can see, 622 is a hell of a lot better than the supposed TU score of 540. They must really have their heads up their ass at TU. Oh and I recently pulled my Credit Expert(about 1 week ago) and it was 667 so that is a little high off the true TU score from the dealership. Anyway, we drove home in a 2002 Nissan Quest at 8.9 % but if I had a job right now, I could have qualified us for 6.9 at tier 2 but my hubby's bankruptcy and his being the only income and his eq score of 597 up from 477 a year ago kept us in tier 3 and they couldn't put me on the loan all by ourselves. We do still have to wait and make sure they can get the carry approved. We were 4 k upside down and even though We got the Nissan at Invoice we are above sticker with the carry, yuck. But hey we got out of our 24% interest loan with the other company, or so we hope anyway. If they can't get it carried, then we might have to buy a 2001 Ford Windstar SE they have or this 2001 Grand Caravan loaded with leather. But they seemed pretty confident at it so I am just keeping my fingers crossed.
Good luck, Melissa. Oh, and you're right... TU DOES have their heads up their asses! Smitty Only 2 things are infinite... the Universe and CRA stupidity! And I'm not so sure about the Universe.
