I filed two disputes with TU online on 2/27. When i pulled my report 3/15 it did not show they were being disputed. On 3/27 when I pulled it they were still there with no notation as verified or anything. I disputed both again yesterday and e-mailed TU to see why these do not show as disputed or verified or anything. The email I received states as follows:
"We hold the dispute information on a system seperate from the credit report order fullfillment system you use to order your reports. Once we have finished processing your dispute, we will send you an updated copy of your report by mail. Until that time do not order additional credit reports." This is my very first dispute with Trans Union. If I applied for a credit card would they give them the report I get or the one showing the disputed info? How would I know which one the credit card company got? Am I just suppose to trust them on this? They already have to wrong items on my report, why would I take their word for this???

When I disputed with TU online, I pulled worthkknowing after 20 days and noticed the accounts had been deleted. I then pulled TU online to see my new score. The accounts had been deleted as well. The new report I got in the mail didn't arrive until after the 30 days.

    kimd9760,

If what they wrote you is the truth, then during a dispute would be the ideal time to apply for new credit since the disputed accounts would be held on 'another' system. Unless, they would automatically pull from that one to compile a report for the inquiring potential creditor.

Something to think about and test....
