For the 2nd time TU has split my file. They also deleted most of my good tradeline. Why o why me!! Does anyone know they best way to handle. 1 report has only good Tradelines @ a 711 score, the other 4/5 baddies, 3/4 goodies @ a 501 score. Can anyone feel my pain??????? Holla back!
Im going thru a similar experience with equifax right now. They split my report into two files with two different names. One is under my full name with Jr and one with my name using a middle intial and no Jr. They said files split when you have too much info in your file. if you have more than 52 lines of info it splits automatically. the only advice they gave me was to dispute everything and hope the file gets small enough to merge. On both reports I had my good lines listed twice and bad items listed twice and I had a warped score also. Good luck on getting them to fix it
My file is split at TU also, they said that after my disputes are done they can remerge them. We will see.
From what I understand, a split file is illegal. It is not at all accurate or COMPLETE...as is mandated by the FCRA. Threaten a lawsuit.
They can put it back together I know, because they split me before...THOSE FREAKS!!!!!! It is a pain in the butt you know to fix this garbage. It is amazing how they delete items that were never in dispute.
And let me guess, they are never the derogs. Always the good tradelines. As Alanis Morrisette said "Ain't it funny how and isn't it IRONIC"
Did TU give you a reason why yours split or how they could fix it? I quess I got lucky when mine was split and just had everything duplicated both good and bad and nothing deleted.
you know I can't remember why it happened before, but it was some LAME excuse they gave me. The had to merge them back together. At least this time they sent both reports..the good one and bad one. The 1st time they only sent the goodone and I was on cloud 100!!!!
They see both!!! The problem I had the 1st time is that they only sent me the good report so I applied for credit {Sears, CAp 1, and Fleet}...alll denied because of this.
just call TU and ask them to merge the files back together. There is no way that I know of to keep this from re-occuring besides keeping your eyes on them.
