TU Sucks

    I hate Transunion. I want them to explain to me how if my password and login was not recognized they can:

    We do not recognize your User ID or Password. For your security, we have blocked online access to your TransUnion Personal Credit Report & Score for 24 hours. Please try to login again tomorrow.


    If it's not recognized how do they know who to block.

    Sorry, just venting.

    Transunion uses the Escheleon (spelling?) system provided by the CIA/NSA. They have a tiny device that reads your finger prints off your keyboard as you type. Then they take a photo of you using your monitor. This gives them both photo identification and finger prints. From there, they take all that information and decide that they don't like you and deny access to a random report based on who they think you are.

    Okay so this is probably the secrets behind credit scoring and not why TU blocked you, but hey... it's possible right?

    I got my password and id two days ago. Went there yesterday--got the same response--We don't recognize your user id or password. I didn't get locked out though.

    No scoring uses fortune tellers and they assign you a score after you get yours read.

    Oh, I get it. What they do is take your name, birth date and SSN to their inhouse fortune teller and then you get your "lucky" number.

    If they did it that way it would probably be more accurate than what they are doing now!

    They blocked me out for a week because I couldn't answer one of the questions that they use to "identify" me. The bizarre part is - one of the questions they asked was about an account that they DELETED four months ago!!! So I didn't know the answer! DUH!!! They are stupid. Yes, they do suck.

    THEY BLOCKED ME OUT BECUASE MY LAST NAME DID MATCH EXACTLY. THEY SPELLED WITH A Z AND I USE AN S. THEN THEY ADVISE ME THAT THEY WOULD SEND MY REPORT TO ME VIA MAIL. WELL THEY DID AND 3 DAYS LATER THEY SENT ME ANOTHER REPORT WITH DIFFERENT INFO.

    BOTH REPORTS WERE DIFFERNT WITH INFO YET THEY BOTH HAD SAME FILE NUMBER. AND I THOUGHT THINGS WERE GETTING BETTER!
