Just checked my report. First of all, they have now deleted several of my best, highest-limit, current, actively-used accounts. Citibank-gone Amex-gone US Bank-gone. They had already deleted my perfect-history paid-off auto loan. (Beware, beware disputing errors on positive accounts!!) But I still have a lot of good accounts and No Adverse Account Information on file. Get this!! As of today, every single one of my accounts shows a ZERO balance. My score is exactly the same as it was last August when I had high debt. And my NUMBER ONE REASON CODE IS: Average balance of bankcard accounts is too high. High balances on these accounts have a negative impact on your credit score. Lowering your balances on these accounts may improve your credit score OK, I've heard of "less than zero," but this is ridiculous. There is really nothing I can do, is there? I am beginning to seriously wonder if there are some kinds of hidden codes we can not see. Any suggestions? You can't dispute something you can't see.
THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS ON HOW THEY CAN USE THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN CREDIT REPORTS. THEY CAN SAY THE INFO. MEANS WHATEVER THEY WANT IT TO MEAN.
