and never applied for it. Seriously! Letter was dated May 8th. Two hard inquiries from Household on May 5th and 6th on Equifax. I made a post concerning the inquiries last week cause I called to ask about a CLI increase on my GM card but did not authorize them to pull a hard since we may refinance the house. Opened mail yesterday and was shocked by the denial letter. The real screwey thing is the denial was due to excessive inquiries? One in December when I applied and received a GM card with a 5K limit. The only other meaningful inquiry was in September. In December MBNA pulled 2 hard inquiries on Experian without my knowledge; I pfb'd them and they changed them to soft inquiries within 30 days of receiving the pfb I am seriously considering a hard line on this with Household; deletion and $$$$. Suggestions?
