From Pre-CHOD efforts. Deleted from my wife's Equifax: Household Bank R9 Paid Collection Deleted from my Equifax: Progressive Asset Mgmt. Paid Collection These had verified twice each before and EQ had refused to investigate them. Many of you will no doubt be ticked off at this, but it was a letter drafted by Bill Bauer that did it.
Kudos, Quixote! Kudos, Quixote's wife! Kudos to Bill Bauer's letter! (Seriously, good show!!) Doc P.S. Quixote, I'll bet that tongues will surely wag when some people read your testimonial. Oops.
In all honesty, I don't think I can; copyrighted material and all that. It was a Validation Letter, not all that different from others laying around here at CreditNet. I was surprised, actually, at the deletions, as that was not really what we were going for just yet. Still setting the table on most of our derogs; getting ready to slam the door fairly soon. At Bills suggestion, concurrently with the Validation letters going out to the creditors, I sent out Requests for Verification (again drafted by Bill) to the CRA's, mostly to get a free updated copy of my credit report. Note that these were not disputes. I simply asked for verification. Got the two deletes on Equifax, but nothing on EX or TU. These were sort of accidental deletions, IMO. But I'll take them wherever I find them.
As long as nobody gets any on me... BTW, Took me two or three looks to get that reference! A little slow on the uptake today.
