Background: Cell phone charge off 09/96 paid in full 12/98, listed as paid charge off (i know iknow pre-cn) nutcase letter sent 11/01, oc updates account as 120 days past due 12/01, never listed as "in dispute" sent EX dispute in 07/02, OC signed for 07/23/02, never placed in dispute. al letter was sent back saying that we already investigated that item. Hee'd and Haw'd and decide to call EX two weeks later and say "ah, I sent in a dispute that you signed for and its not in dispute, and by the by the letter that yopu sent mentioned the wrong account" "no problem we'll place it in dispute now the guy says" I say "well you have about 11 days left" EX rep says "we will look into it, and if true back date" I say fine "how do I know that you will do it" EX rep "that's my job sir" get results back today, GUESS WHAT??? EX verified as correct, looking at the canceled check now cashed in 12/98' longer than 30 for investigation, failure to verify I smell addition funds for my house being built!!!
