    Hi Jenz.

I have a workable opinion on this but some disagree.

Some Medical Debt IS a written Contract and some are Open Accounts. So to ask about "medical debt" I think is too general.

A Hospital bill for example, is a written contract. Office visits to your PCP is Open.

The distinguishing factor is whether or not additional, future transactions can be anticipated, which are payble in 4 or more monthly payment installments.

    :)

    ok here is the situation:

someone goes to dentist before insurance changes and they will no longer be seeing them. since there won't be any future transactions - this would be written?

i hate this medical crap - it has no business being on a credit report.
