Well, I hust got my updated Equifax report back. The charge off of $507 is still on there. The status is R9, but they noted that it was "closed by consumer". This doesn't help me any if the balance is still $507, right? BTW, I've never even received this "ACE credit repair kit" so I'm going to continue to dispute. This is a bunch of BS! I think they just make up their own reasons. Looks like this is gonna be a long, hard battle...
