I got an offer today for pre-approval for an "Ultimate Electronics" card from GE Capital. I assume I got it because I have a WalMart card because I haven't seen a promotional inquiry from GE anywhere since the time I got the WalMart card. The offer is for 0% financing until 2003. I have some electronics items I was going to buy anyway for personal use and Christmas gifts, and I'm really thinking about taking them up on their offer. Does anyone know how this works with GE? If I go into the store (yes, this is not a call in or mail in offer) and accept this will they do a hard inquiry for a second GE account?
