Just noticed tonight that umbrellabank.com's credit card operation has gone online after a couple of months of delay. They offer Platinum, Classic and Secured accounts. The rates are low -- 10.9% APR on the Classic, for example.

Would love to know what bureau they pull. Anybody have any experience?

I dunno...but their "instant approval" is full of @!#$...me and 3 friends have applied today- all of us with GREAT credit- no negatives whatsoever...we all got "Error in Processing"-- or something to that effect.

They say -- at least in the info on the secured card -- they report to all three bureaus and the secured doesn't report as secured.

I've been waiting to apply because -- surprise, surprise -- my credit report is messed up after my Chapter 7. Not all of my debts listed in my filing are reporting as included in bankruptcy. Some are reporting as past due, and I'm afraid that will prevent me from qualifying. (My lawyer is working on it.) And I don't want to risk a credit inquiry if I'm going to be turned down.
