Hello There, I just call customer service today and they told me that they did receive the inital deposit and the checking account is open I reject the overdraft protection becuase there is a $25 annual fee and an apr of 21.9% but I did accept the approve awards platinum visa however the rep told me that I need to fax over 2 recent utility bills for verification before the accounts are active and open... yes they got my deposit but no account until the verification is fax over... so if you send in your deposit you might want to double check with them and see if they need that info to open the accounts....
