I got my Umbrella Bank platinum Visa in the mail yesterday. No problems with them so far and the card worked when I used it. With their great rewards program I'll probably use it exclusively from now on.

I've split my direct depost between Umbrella and TD Waterhouse. If I don't have any hassles with them I'll probably move my checking account entirely to Umbrella.

Congrats. Did you get favorable terms? I ask since not all Platinum offers are all that exciting.

Not a good idea unless you want to take a chance on having your money wiped out.

Why don't you ever explain your comments? Is it because you don't even understand what you are saying?

    LKH,

Obviously he doesn't because he answers his own post *normally* about six times in a row....and NONE of them make sense!!

Unless Dave has over $100,000 cash with Umbrella, his money will be safer than if it was in his own pocket. I have to agree with all, lbrown makes about as much sense as two monkeys f#$$ing a football.

I think 2 monkeys f#$$ing a football makes more sense than his posts.

Sometimes I try to get folks brains started so they can think for themselves. At times it don't work because there is nothing there to start.

Why don't you try to get your own brain started?

I'll give you some free advice that you're not going to like and didn't ask for.

Have you noticed that most people chastise you for the majority of your posts? Sometimes even newbies.

While you may think what your about to post makes sense to you, it doesn't to alot of us.

How does a statement like: "Not a good idea unless you want to take a chance on having your money wiped out." make sense. Do you have some special insight about Umbrella bank, that if explained, might substantiate your claim?

Obviously not, an FDIC insured bank can't "wipe your money out".

If you think it's over our heads, your sadly mistaken, it just doesn't make sense.

If you think your a genius, spend some of that brain-power on:
    • Learning grammar
    • Explaining your reasoning in a post
    • Responding to a post 1 time
    • Trying to be helpful
Should I go on? I had you on ignore, should I have left you there?

I'm hoping that you actually care somewhat about this board and the topics discussed here. You are obviously here alot.

How are your scores? Do you have derogs left? Are you here to repair? Are you done repairing and here for rebuilding or prime info? Or are you just here to pass George in number of posts and annoy people?

Do you think that stupid comments, most times, with no basis and explanation help anyone? make you new friends? Get our brains started?

I realize not every post is on topic or helpful. But generally the people here have some kind of rapport with each other. Joking, commiserating, etc. are common posts with some, I do it myself.

Really lbrown, what is the point? Why are you here?

How long did it take before you received the credit card in the mail

I received my debit card and pin, but I still haven't received my credit card or checks

Though both accounts show up on the website
