Hello all, my saga with WFNNB continues. I have been trying to have them delete two accounts for months now. Very unsuccessfully, however. Now, the plot deepens. I recently pulled my report and FOUND A HARD INQUERY BY WFNNB. I have not applied for anything from them in years. It seems during the investigation of my compliant, they pulled a hard inquiry. What should my next step be, a letter and request for $1,000? any ideas
I had a similar problem a few months ago, although I never challenged it. One day, out of the blue, I was mailed a J Crew/WFNNB card that I never applied for. I bought a few things from jcrew.com a few weeks before, but I never thought anything of it.. recently when I checked my report, I saw that they had pulled a hard inquiry on my experian acct... I would suggest that you call WFNNB directly and have them remove it. I can't imagine them giving you too much problem considering it will cost them $1000 if they are not your creditor.
