I have PFB several companies about unauthorized inquiries on CR. Each one is asking me to fax a copy of my CR for resolve the issue. Should I fax my credit report to them? Why would they need a copy if I did not apply for anything with their company?
Black out the other account info and anything else except identifying info and their info, and fax it to them. Whenever anyone has done this, they've gotten deletion.
yes, fax it to them. Cut out the header info with your name and address and paste it with your inquiry section. They don't need to see anything else they're actually doing the right thing. they're not allowed to pull your report to see their previous pull... so they need to verify it's there and the only legal way they can do it is if you send them a copy showing their inquiry. by the way, if the inquiry truly is impermissible ask for 1k too ))

Monicagee, hope I got your name right, thanks for your post. I hadn't thought of PFB before with regards to contacting creditors and unauthorized inquiries! My Equifax report looks awful due to them.I'll try it.
