Union Plus & Corvette MC

    I just applied for both w/scores in the lower 600's... I received the 10-14 day message on both of them. Is this a definate bad sign?

    MAYBE, MAYBE NOT...it takes 2 seconds to put DENIED on the screen!!!

    Has anyone received a flat out denial online from UP or Corv MC? I always thought they didn't do that...

    I had a 650 and received instant denial from Corvette

    Didn't give me reasons online, and don't recall the reasons in the letter, has been a couple of months

    I didn't seek reconsideration

    Just posted cause I figured you'd be happy to hear that there are flat out denials so you could still be looking good.

    I too got the flat out denial for the Corvette MC. I had an inflated score of 667. The reason for denial was public record item. Funny thing is, the public record item had been deleted about 2 weeks prior to my applying. I know they pulled EQ because the inq showed up, but when I got the letter in the mail it showed that they got a report from a company out of Ohio. I called the number and it was a company that is part of Equifax. It was CBC Credit Services and I assume that it is similar to CSC. I sent off for a copy of my credit report from them but haven't received anything back yet (sent it 2 1/2 weeks ago).

    That's interesting. I think Butch has some, um, issues with CBC. You might want to search on them.

    What is the big deal with having a credit card with a picture of a Corvette on it? I can see the significance of it if you own a corvette.

    it's just an easy card to get and if you play your cards right you can get three cards for the price of 1 inq............................

    if you apply for the gm card , the corvette card and the union plus card back to back household bank will usually only pull 1 inquiry for all three applications
