For those of you who remember I filed suit against UCB over like 7 violations. Some of you may disappointed in this but it was never about the money. Their lawyer called today and asked how they could resolve this. We agreed that the account would be closed and deleted and they would pay it off so it would never come back to me with another CA. Also, they would delete from the credit bureaus. Finally, they will pay the court filing costs. Granted I could have gone for more but I want to save my filings for those who will not give in. Basically, the account went bye bye and my score will go up and this will cost me nothing except time. Once again, another CA caves in. I have not had one single CA fight me which proves they prey on the weak and uninformed.
To make it even more fun experian verified the UCB collection. I am on hold with them now. Since UCB said they did not verify anything I cannot wait to see what experian says. I swear they do not verify anything anymore the way they should. They are going down baby down.
