A few days ago, I posted about my AT&T Universal card transfer rate that expires at the end of this month. Well, I finally called them today to see what they could do, and they lowered it to prime + 1.9 (9.9%)! This is now my lowest rate account, and I am so happy! Of course, I also found out that the 2.9 rate was good through the end of May, not this month, so I can't even count :).

Thanks so much for the advice; I have gained so much confidence since I ran across this board, and I would NEVER have thought of calling the creditors to ask for anything!!

Congratulations, JacquiG! I'm glad it worked for you. I've also learned so
much from this board as well.

    Thanks Everyone

Thanks for the kind words. Actually, I ended up calling back last night to verify the rate because I started wondering if I'd misunderstood (maybe was a BT rate?)! Nope, it's still my permanent APR!!

    Hi David,
Good to know you're still here...check your email!
