Hi I am a noob here please be nice. In late March I saw a new inquiry appeared on my privacy guard daily monitor alert and it was from "EFX-RES080." I called PG in early April and asked who it was and was told its from a company called Premier mortgage. I did not give authorization to anyone for the pull. I had to study for my finals so did not have time to deal with it. I purchased my credit reports with scores from myfico today and the inquiry is under the name "EQUIFAX MORTGAGE SERV." So I wonder who exactly pull a hard inq on me. Coincidentally, I have received a call (didn't catch the call) from Premier mortgage with a local number on my caller ID. So I wonder if that's the company who pulled a hard inq on me. I am a bit suspicious that it was my old mortgage consultant who pulled it. Because I called her last Oct asking about refin but I decided to wait. I have received a voice mail from her in mid March saying she is working at another company. I am looking to refin now and this inqu can make or kill my deal so I am really worried. Any help is appriciated! Thanks
