Thanks to applying the skills I have picked up on this board, I am down to 1 negative tradeline on my reports. It is an unpaid repo with a DOLA of 1/97. I live in NY and our statute of limitations is 6 years. Should I try to dispute this with the CRA's, or will this cause the OC's to come after me? Should I wait for the SOL to expire, and then dispute? They have pretty much left me alone, except for the correspondences from lawyers every few months. The unpaid portion was about 9k. Thanks for any input!!
