A couple years ago I had a house go to foreclosure and it sold at a sheriffs sale. They had a judgement against us for the amount. The house was sold to hud due to it being FHA. The mortgage company got paid and I have a letter from them saying there is a zero balance. The judgement is listed as unpaid and not satisfied. We disputed this and the Ca/attorney that represented the OC verified it as not satisfied. IF everyone got their money how can it be not satisfied and not paid and do I have a case against them?

The CRA should have contacted the courthouse, not the OC, or their CA or atty to verify the judgment.

The CRA checked the judgement record online. It lists it as not satisfied and unpaid so that is what they have to go on. I am gonna call the law firm as soon as I find out of they did something illegal.
