My partner is looking for an unsecured credit card in UK but is refused each time. He has got a bank account and cash card (no debit card yet). Is there a certain time after you open a bank account before applying for a credit card? If anybody knows of any way of obtaining (legally of course) a credit card in UK after a bad credit rating (about 5-6 years ago) PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Cheers, Sabine
