Unsecured credit card offers?

I have received an offer for a Visa and A MC, both unsecured, both with a $5,000 limit, without a credit check and interest at less than 10%.
How could a company offer this? Anyone could take the cards and run - I suspect there is more to this, but it's not obvious.
    Any input or ideas??

Sounds like a scam, too good to be true. What bank is this offer coming from? If we knew the name, we may have heard of this before.

Absolutely no one is going to give you a $5000 credit line without even checking your credit, You either have excellent credit and they know this and that's why they're sending you this offer or it's a scam. Do they require you to send in money? If so then that's more than likely how the scam works, you send in your money and you never hear from them again. Whatever the case, be careful.
