    Hi
we have a debt from 1999 sent to American agencies. I went through the validation process a few months ago. they had violations against them and no proper validation etc. Suddenly they stopped reporting to the CRA. I was hoping that was that but of course now 2 month later it has popped back up on hubby's reports. Now what do I do ? Start the validation process again ? Send a nasty letter ? Go to the BBB and Ftc ? TRy to verify with the CRA and hope they don't verify it ?
    Opinions please

    Thanks

    Jamie

No, you don't have to start over. Just send them an intent to sue letter (or fax) for there previous violations, and for continued collection activity after failing to provide validation.
