IT IS HARD TO SAY WITH <30 SECOND APPROVAL...THEY MAY JUST LOOK AT SCORE... BUT...they would have to take into account your income also... Somebody with income of $100,000+ wouldn't want a $1,000 credit limit... On the other hand...somebody with a score of 750+ with only $15,000 income shouldn't get a credit limit of $20,000 either...
Sure...I think my income is sufficient. I will check in the status of my disputes today and see if it's worth a run an the BDD. By the way, what CRA does Citi pull?
citibank will automagically reject a "baddy" report for automatic approval. It will then be hand-scrutinized by a citi-folk. They look for recent issues, mostly, and disqualify you quickly. IE: Collection less than 2.5 years old = no dice They will be glad to tell you "the rules" which seem to change all the time. I suggest disputing everything "bad" then applying, maybe you'll get lucky. I had a 579 beacon when i got my first $4K AAdvantage card. I've been denied twice since then, both times "Maximum amount of credit for your income" reason ever since i hit the $25K mark.
