I am having Equifax update my name (to married name) and address. My question is, under most recent employment history it lists a company I worked for during the summer of 1994. I was 18 and it was a convenience store that has since gone out of business. I have been with my current employer (in another state) more than three years. Is this something I should ask to be updated as well, or am I better off with them not knowing anything? Nobody is out there looking to find me and get me to pay something (everything has been settled or paid). Just wondering. Thanks, Deb
Hi Deb, My previous experiences with CRA in regards to updating my married last name has been excellent!!!!!....I have disputed about 6 Charge off and (2) paid collections and the majority has been deleted, It's been more than 6 years old CA. Before..my Fico score....EQ-545, Exp 500 & TU 600.. Presently my fico score EQ - 620, Exp -0- & TU 645 Mayflower..........
