UPDATE on GetSmart Visa Classic

    I called GetSmart today asking them about the 25-day grace period on the Classic card, and all 3 times I spoke with the regular representatives, I was told there was NO grace period, but that I had no annual or processing fee! Outrageous! I even told the lady to go look up the information on the website and see for herself, which she did. She put me on hold and got her manager. I waited for 5 minutes, only to be told "My manager looked over this and agrees there is an error on the site, and there is no grace period." I then told the lady that is advertising fraud and the main reason I applied for the card was because of the 25-day grace period. She told me there was nothing they could do, so I told her I would like to just close out the account. She stopped me and told me she was going to transfer me to an account specialist. Once I got on the phone w/ the account speciailist, some information was verified and my account was reviewed. She told me that INDEED there IS a 25-day grace period, and that the regular CSR's were wrong. She put a note on my account about the grace period and even upped my credit limit from the approved $1,000 to $1,250! Not too shabby for a screw up on the CSR's part!
